About SLPs and Speech-Language Pathology in Ontario

All speech-language pathologists in Ontario are governed by CASLPO- a governing college whose mission is to protect the public and ensure quality practice is being provided. One aspect of belonging to the college, is continuing education. Every SLP is required to complete several hours of education each year in order to maintain their license to practice. Some of the continuing education opportunities that we’ve participated in are listed below.  You can learn more about SLPs in your area, education and license requirements, and many other aspects of communication disorders at www.caslpo.comwww.osla.on.ca, and www.asha.org.
